Gone is the former All Saints uniform
of baggy combats and an oversized
army surplus parka. In their place are
button-down shirt dresses, front-pleated
trousers, chinos and crisp cotton shirts
with epaulettes.
Maxmara’s fluid silk pants with
combat-style pockets are pure luxury,
parka coats are tailored by Marc Jacobs
and Aquascutum has combined sturdy
khaki jackets with long flowing dresses.
Meanwhile at Chloé, trousers were
tapered and flat fronted, mixed with
starched shirts and satchels worn
across the body.
Stylist’s favourite look was at Balmain:
super-sexy, rock-chick, bullet-hole ridden
T-shirts, sequin camo-print tops and liquid
metal fringing on the shoulders of military
tail coats and jackets. Truly cool.
