BACH’S ANTI-STRESS
TREATMENT
Juggling my busy life with a new love
interest has been causing me a few
sleepless nights, so I decided to try
something soothing courtesy of
herbal headmaster Dr Bach, founder
of Fleurs de Bach (the homeopathic
doc behind Rescue Remedy) to give
me some inner calm. His latest
anti-stress remedies have been
THE URBAN RETREAT, A
SANCTUARY OF CALM
transformed
into healing
treatments to
calm overactive
minds and
stressed-out bodies.
Opting for the body massage, the
therapist started at my feet with a
calming dose of reflexology. She
then moved up the body using
lymphatic drainage techniques
– a light and soothing massage –
combined with shiatsu, a Japanese
technique where the therapist
pushes down on various tension
spots to release negative energy
and toxins. I was left feeling
blissfully relaxed, with the worry
of whose turn it was to text next
the very least of my concerns.
