Welcome to
Stylist
It is a strange quirk of the fashion
world that, as the sun comes
out and we scrabble around trying
to pull together the perfect
beachwear looks for our holidays,
all of the summer
clothes disappear
from the shops
to be replaced
by unwanted sale
items and the
first glimmers
of the a/w
collections. The
fact is, true trend
followers plan
ahead (and
aren’t left sulkily
trawling the shops for a bikini… yes,
I do speak from experience). Which
is why this week we’re revealing the
big trends for a/w 2010 (p22). July
may feel too early to be thinking
about autumn, but learn the trends
today and you can snap up
investment pieces that will take you
through the inevitable Indian
summer and into autumn. It’s going
to be a very stylish season.
